Pulpypapaya is not an office. It is a family of dreamers working together to meet a noble end - taking the best of lost arts and handicrafts to the world. Respect for work is placed above anything else here. Appreciation flows but only for extra ordinary work. We hate hierarchies. We think as one. We have free cookies and beverages. We are people who have no liking for dress codes, office politics, fixed lunching hours, cap on tea cups, banning social media and "The Boss is always right" attitude. Pulpypapaya is an experiment to create a world class studio that encourages creativity, intelligence and positivity. Also we're very generous in promoting the unheard - it's what we do.
What do we need?
Talent + Never Die Attitude + Will to fail + Learners + Misfits = Pulpy People
We started very small (As small as tiniest). We love how we experimented, failed, learned and climbed few steps of success. We need each member of our Pulpypapaya Family to grow with the brand. Each member is an entrepreneur here. Degrees and certificates do not excite us. Raw talent with no bounds of imagination is our jackpot. Smart work above hard work. Failures above no experimentation.
We need people with hopes and dreams and personal ambitions, people who have a problem staying still.
We're not talking Billy Jean or Freddie Mercury talented (far better actually). It may be mature or raw. But talent is a must. Talent defines how well you can assimilate things around you. The core is real talent. Self-Driven talent. We welcome new knowledge.
Roam around in sweatpants, doodle on the wall, take a nap, shout, sing, dance, crack jokes about the founders, mimic or anything you feel like doing. All is acceptable if you are sincere about your work. Period. No compromise in the deadlines and work quality.
We think fast, we revise fast, we iterate over and over to get to the best idea, the best design and the best decision. In such a dynamic environment, you need to be quick on your feet and wit. Being slow is just so mainstream.
A little distrust is a bad thing. If you are open and honest with us, we will be clear as rain for you. We're not looking for disapprovals, but resolutions.
Your work ethic should be that of a learning one - a correcting one, even. We're all learning here. When we see you work and growing with it, we'll have fun and grow along with you, too!
The designer at the busy looking table? They're a friend. The co-founders sitting in the office? They're your friends. We all share the same space physi¬cally and emotionally. We laugh, eat, talk, learn and explore together. If you want to work in a sense of belongingness with mutual respect and gratitude, we'd be glad to have you.
We run like clockwork and are proud of it. We have lenient deadlines but are on a mission. We need team players who do not delay and do their part in their own organized way - we are more concerned about reaching the optimal quality of work within time limits.
If you find you have some or most of the traits we seek, we welcome you with warm hearts and cupcakes.
